Fabrics & Linens

We carry linens and aidas from Wichelt and Zweigart. Fabrics from other companies are listed and can be ordered if they are not in stock.

Linens are sold by the yd. 36x55, ½ yd. 18 x 55, fat quarters 18x27, 1/8 yd. 13x18 or a small cut of 9x13. Zweigart fabrics also come in a 18x18 package. Our linens are mostly 28 and 32 cts. But we have some in 18, 25, 35 and 40 cts. Just call or email about size and color.

Aidas are sold in similar cuts as the linens. We also have D.M.C. packs and Charles Craft 1 and 2 yd. pieces.  They come in 11, 14, 16 and 18 cts.

Lincoln 14 ct. fabric is very easy to see with a slight rustic appearance and a good variety of colors.

Lugana and Jazlyn are available in 28 and 32 cts. and lots of colors. Thee are a good choice for people who want the look of linen but find linen hard to work with.

R & R Reproductions fabrics are hand dyed linens. They are not colorfast.

Weeks Dye Works fabrics are hand dyed linens. They also are not washable.

Northern Cross Linens Their 30 ct. is widely used for Hardanger embroideries.

Lakeside Linens have handdyed aidas and linens in many cts. and colors.

SalEm fabric is 14 ct. in white or cream only.
