We offer a finishing service for needlepoint and cross stitch items. We utilize several specialty finishers , all by mail.

One needlepoint finisher does pillows, bellpulls, piano benches etc. She has a selection of backing fabrics to choose from, mainly velveteen or moiré. Any fringe or specialty fabrics will have to be supplied by you. Her prices include both the blocking and the backing fabric.

If you need a shaped or stand-up piece or a belt we have a company that does that also.

For cross stitch ornaments we have a finisher who specializes in them. She does an excellent job using your backing fabric and trim.

The prices depend on the size and type of finish required. We will be happy to talk with you about your needs.

Just as a forewarning all our finishers have an Oct. 1 deadline for Christmas delivery.

We also have someone who can repair some knit and crochet items, lace and table linens. She needs to see the piece before she can give an estimate so call us to be put in touch with her. She has many satisfied customers including me.
